Giving Thanks

Giving Thanks

I’m thankful for all the bloggers I’ve met,
the friends I’ve made and the lessons you taught.
I’m thankful for great posts to read; they whet
curiosity, spark wanderlust and thought.

So thank you to those who proposed challenges,
writing prompts and creative exchanges:

Without your push, I’d not have mined my mind,
dug up gems; so thanks for the weekly grind.

Thank you for the insightful poems, posts,
stories–I raise my teacup in a toast,
to you who fill my reader with such gems,
in no real order, let me list those gems:

Thank you all, for all that you write, and here’s
to more to come, in the unfolding years.

~ ~ ~

What are you #thankful for?

Also a trio of tulips for the Daily Post’s photo challenge: Trio and the Daily Post’s prompt “Press It.”

  1. Sweet Melinda–I just realized I hadn’t followed your blog yet, so sorry for the delay! I can’t promise how often I’ll read and comment–mostly because I have serious computer issues (it doesn’t like to load certain blogs, and just bogs down and quits on me–very moody, even more so than moi!) Please know how much I appreciate you, and wish you ALL GOOD things 🙂

  5. Awww, Mel. I cannot express enough how this post made me so happy. Why? It’s because you are one of those great writers that I have read. (I’ve read your poems for the first when we’re classmates in Writing 201: Poetry) 🙂

So.. it is really an honor. 🙂

Finally, I would like to ask your permission. 🙂 I would like to reblog one of your posts. 🙂 I hope it’s okay with you. 🙂

    1. Thanks, I just wanted to share the great people who come up with prompts and the posts that I enjoyed. I’m quite certain I missed a few from my list but I’m so tired and stressed out from work that I can’t figure it out right now. I’ll give those I missed a special shout out next time.
