When stars and angels sing…
You know you’re in for quite the adventure…

However, getting there is a struggle for Sarn, a twenty-one year old indentured Ranger, who patrols part of the Enchanted Forest in Shayari. After his master, Nolo, found out about Sarn’s four year old son, Sarn found himself, his son and his teenage brother fostered with Nolo’s family.

The struggle begins as Nolo’s family observes Advent and it only grows as symbols of a season and a looming holiday that Sarn knows nothing about nears. Since Nolo’s wife takes care of Sarn’s young son while he is out with the Rangers, his son is exposed to all the holiday prep leaving Sarn to wonder if such exposure is good for his son. Sarn’s struggle doesn’t go unnoticed, nor does his wish to understand the reason behind the season.

Much of Shayari is still gripped by paganism which throws a few stumbling blocks in Sarn’s path. With help from Santa, an iceman man, some very determined fairies and other holiday favorites, Sarn and his son discover what Christmas and the Epiphany are all about.

Their world might never be the same after that. Sarn and his family are celebrating the holiday season, their way, with good cheer and mayhem. St. Nick just shuddered and the Magi ran for cover.

A lyric epic, Stars and Angels Sing features fully realized characters in a lush fantasy setting. It draws on all of your favorite holiday tropes and carols as Sarn searches for the heart of the season. Originally published as a series of posts on http://melindakucsera.com, the story captivated readers from all over and left them smiling.

  1. Oh my goodness! All this happened, and how did I miss it? I know — January went by in a strange haze for me.
Congratulations, my friend! It will be great to read it at one sitting. I find it harder to follow serialized stories.
I need to know how to order a copy. Let me go back up and read all the exchanges between you and the others to find out how to do it!

    2. I find it hard to follow it in bits and pieces so now I will have an opportunity to read it cover to cover (first screen to last screen in this case). I look forward to sharing my thoughts. 🙂

    4. I’m going to have to do that aren’t I? I don’t know how one goes about that. Do you authors get invited to events? Do they just show up? I’m going to need to research this. Figured I’d start on this when I had multiple books out. My favorite author advised that in a forum; he self published too. So he knows what he’s talking about 😉

    5. I hope so. So far I have just emailed him saying I love his books. I haven’t done more than read through that forum. It was on another side and I’m still deciding what to make of it. Dipping my toe in there felt like I was dangling fresh meat before a shark. Everyone was so hungry for advice. I’m trying to do what I can myself and wait to ask when I have better questions and hopefully some knowledge. I think it will be a more meaningful exchange then. (I hope.)

    1. Yes I just visited her site. I’m nosing around. I don’t want to ask straight off the bat. I’ll try and engage her in conversation and see if I can bring that up. I do like her concept. I hope she gets the funding she needs.

    1. oh thank you! I will follow back. I’m new to twitter. I’m still getting the hang of it which is why I haven’t publicized my handle on there yet. Wanted to get used to the medium first and make all my mistakes with few people watching 🙂

    1. Thank you! This is a dream come true. Next is a full length novel for Sarn, Curse Breaker: Enchanted! Hoping to have it in print and ebook before my birthday in March. I discovered that larger trim sizes = less pages = less cost. So Sarn’s book will be big, beautiful and hopefully not much more expensive. I’m living and learning 🙂
