Even blindfolded Sarn could feel it and the carved stones that comprised that damned bracelet. Part of his mind identified the beads before he could stop it; ten agate, three jasper and one green lumir bead comprised the bracelet. Nolo had chosen it because the lumir stone glowed the same hue as Sarn’s eyes.
Stone on bracelet glows,
whispers in language unknown–
Requests unfulfilled.
His mind is lost in the din
of magic’s insanity.
Sarn tried to ignore the cylinder of lumir, the largest bead on the bracelet, but that luminous stone had a connection to him. It called to him asking without words for something that made the magic inside him snap to attention. Fantastic, now rocks wanted things from him. Could the night get any weirder?
