(Continues from Yugto or Through the Mirror)

She felt the gigil–that uncontrollable urge to squeeze or pinch someone. In this case, it was herself that she needed to pinch because this couldn’t be real. Through the mirror, she saw her body lying motionless on the tiled floor. No breath stirred the long dark hair obscuring her face. No twitch of any of the muscles in  her back either.

No, her body was dead and she was stuck here pounding on the wrong side of the cold, unforgiving mirror. Screams tore at her throat. Hands pried her away from the mirror and turned her to face the nightmare that was her new reality…
