All Balled Up

I wound all their fates into a ball and hefting it, I smiled. Who knew the fate of an entire race could be measured in ounces? All their hopes, dreams, and loves were reduced to a sparkling ball of twine tossed into a corner of my workroom.

  1. Hmm such a strange way to think of our fates. Like strings as the ancient Greeks did, the fates with only one eye. Funny that all our fates wrapped together, should be thrown into the corner. Well done.
