Money stacks tower,
casting shadows that lengthen–
extend my power.
~ ~ ~
Will you be happy,
to sleep in bed of millions,
locked up, all alone?

The ending is truly the clincher, my friend–wish people could see it coming before they trample hearts “going for the gold”….
this is so true. A guy once broke up with me because and I quote, I wasn’t “first lady material.” He had aspirations of becoming president and an image to uphold.
Oh my GOSH! Sheesh, did you slap him??!!
hell yeah! Then I thought about it and was glad we’d broken up. I have NO interest in being a politician’s wife. Hell no. They’re all cheaters and I have standards.
I’m with you on this–I feel sorry for whomever he chooses….

I will be happy to share those millions with a little leftover for me to buy a nice bed to sleep on, may be a nice house. Wait a minute, locked up? Never.
no yacht? no private plane? I’d buy a nice bed–one that’s not so old and lump that it leaves me in pain every morning.
