Hi Readers,

I’m sorry for not writing you. I promised to let a certain character have his say, and I didn’t. Last week I was a wreck. My cousin disappeared and was found dead three days later, shattering our family. May he rest in peace.

Standing by my cousin’s coffin, I wished I had reached out. Maybe if I had, he wouldn’t have he sought release at the end of a noose. That day, I lost my sister all over again. Grief stabbed me, shredding my heart.

I went through the motions until my eye caught on a copy of Curse Breaker: Enchanted. It offered a refuge, and I crawled between its pages. I took my anger out on it. 20,000 words fell to my delete button as I tightened and twisted the story highlighting its epicness.  Reediting Enchanted became the calm center as anger, guilt and blame threatened to rip my family apart.

When I started this journey, I had no fan base, but I do now, and I am grateful for your time and interest. It’s been a bumpy ride, but we’re taking it together. And knowing you’re just an email away, brightens my darkest moments.

In light of everything, the vote and character interview are postponed until April/May. As you can imagine, my characters are not happy about this. Next week’s newsletter should be an interesting one. I promised to let them say their piece.
