You’re beautiful; yes you reading these words.
No matter your race or creed or color,
or whether you bend your gender, these words
are meant for you. For I see your splendor,
reaching out bright hands towards the whole world.
It stuns me that so much beauty contains
all that you are without overflowing.
Young, old or in between, these words pertain
to you and me and all the world flowing
by can’t deny the beauty of your soul.
Not when its shining like a second sun.
To you I extend my hand, through the whole
world let me walk with you and share your sun.
Our journey’s just begun my friend, your words
sparkle in your eyes, they’re secrets untold…

You hold my hand and we walk into dreams
your heart spun, whispering words that weave realms
of fantasy to revel in it seams.
If monsters threaten, don’t you fear, my helm,
my sword and shield stand ready to defend.
You lead and I follow, skipping lightly
down the path to the unknown, let me mend
all that keeps your light from shining brightly
when you’re in the real world. Don’t shut away
your light; what permeates let radiate
out to the world. Don’t you dim it, okay?
For all the world needs you to innovate.
I squeeze your hand; the dream turns to waking.
You’re beautiful, though your head’s still shaking…
